How to scan photos into a PDF
- Photograph each document page in good, even lighting.
- Attach the images, arrange their order and correct their orientation.
- Create and download the multi-page PDF.
Capture clearer document photos
Place pages on a contrasting flat surface, hold the camera parallel to the paper and avoid shadows. Higher-resolution photos produce more readable PDFs but also increase file size.
Image-based PDF limitation
The resulting pages contain images. Text will not automatically become searchable or selectable because this tool does not perform optical character recognition.
