How to rotate a PDF online
- Choose Attach PDF and inspect the page thumbnails.
- Use a page's rotation arrows for individual corrections, or All left/right controls for the complete document.
- Choose Save Rotated PDF, download the copy and open it to check every corrected page.
When PDF rotation is useful
Scanners and phone cameras sometimes save selected pages in landscape or upside down. Rotation updates the PDF page orientation so it opens correctly in common viewers without recreating the page as an image.
Local browser processing
FlowPDF reads and modifies the document inside the active browser tab. The PDF does not need to be sent to a FlowPDF document-processing server.
Correct mixed scans without changing the content
A landscape table can be correct even when the rest of a report is portrait. Inspect each page before applying an all-page rotation: a blanket change can fix the majority while turning an already-correct appendix sideways. Use the individual controls when only a receipt, diagram or scanned signature sheet needs adjustment.
Rotation changes orientation in quarter turns. It is not a perspective correction or an arbitrary-angle deskew tool for photographs. If a camera image is tilted within the page, correct the source image before making a PDF. Printed page numbers, internal references and the wording of the document are not rewritten. Keep a source copy and check the download in the PDF viewer your recipient uses.
