Privacy at FlowPDF

FlowPDF is designed to process PDF and image files locally in your web browser. The website does not require an account, and the document contents you choose are not intentionally transmitted to a FlowPDF document-processing server.

Files and document contents

When you attach a supported file, browser-based libraries read it in memory on your device. Editing, merging, splitting, compression, conversion and other document operations are performed within the active browser tab. Downloaded results are created by the browser.

FlowPDF does not intentionally collect file names, document text, signatures, passwords or the contents of attached PDFs and images through its analytics.

Website analytics

FlowPDF uses Google Analytics to understand general website usage, such as visited pages, opened tools, completed downloads, approximate location, device type and referral source. These measurements help improve the product and evaluate marketing. Custom FlowPDF events are designed not to include file names or document contents.

Third-party resources

The website loads browser libraries and supporting files from content delivery networks. Those providers may receive standard web request information such as IP address, browser type and requested resource. Google Analytics also processes usage data under Google’s own terms and privacy practices.
