How to split a PDF

  1. Attach the source PDF and review its page previews.
  2. Add split lines between sections or select pages for extraction.
  3. Create and download the resulting PDF files.

Choose splitting or extraction

Use split lines when a document contains complete sections such as separate invoices or chapters. Use extraction when you only need certain pages, even if those pages are not next to each other.

Your original remains unchanged

FlowPDF reads the source file and generates new copies. Nothing is written back to the original PDF unless you choose to replace it yourself after downloading.

Split PDF questions

Can I extract non-consecutive pages?

Yes. Select the individual page previews and create a new PDF from that selection.

Will page quality change?

No. Pages are copied rather than rendered as images during splitting.
